YOUR SCREENPLAY GOES DIRECTLY TO THE PRODUCER

The Sixth Borough Screenwriting Competition is a way for Screenwriters to get their scripts into the hands of industry professionals with the possibility of having their vision make it from page to screen. Sixth Borough Entertainment is currently in search of a script to make a 1 to 2 million-dollar feature within the next year. That is where you come in... The winner will be offered an option contract for a Feature Film! Do you have the next great script?

Additionally, every writer that enters the screenplay competition has the opportunity to receive a written analysis on his or her entry. Screenplays will be given fair, thoughtful consideration by one of Sixth Borough's experienced script readers. Upon completion, they will in turn write a review that hopefully will give insight to help the writer improve their work.

Sixth Borough Entertainment got the opportunity to interview screenwriter Alex Litvak. In this 8-part series he talks about how he got started as a screenwriter, his long-term goals, and his favorite aspects of screenwriting. He also discusses how he copes with writer's block and gives advice to new screenwriter's looking to break into the business. During one segment he even reveals some exclusive details about Predators (2010) (a film he co-wrote with Robert Rodriguez and Michael Finch).
